This is my second purchase of this coffee pot. The first one is still working perfectly (for about 2 years now) but I couldn't bear the thought that it might someday just wear out from it's daily brewing task. So, fearing that the manufacturer might someday discontinue this model, I bought a second one.
The main reason that I like this coffee pot is that it is stainless steel. There's no plastic touching the coffee (if you don't count the small plastic topper where the coffee perks up). Therefore, you get only pure coffee taste. And the pot can be easily scoured to remove oils, stains, etc. I love it!
If I outlive both my current one and it's replacement and can't find another, I guess I'll just quit drinking coffee!
