Customer Review: The Best Coffeemaker I've Ever Owned

This is absolutely the best coffeemaker I've ever owned. It had been many years since I'd purchased a coffeemaker, so I decided to do a careful search for a new one. I looked in many stores and online, and read lots of reviews. I finally selected the Melitta MEFB2W and am I glad I did. After over 2 years of daily use, it has performed flawlessly and has been easy to use and problem-free. It brews coffee fast and hot, and is much quieter than my last coffee maker. It has a nice-looking design and unlike many others I looked at, it doesn't take up much counter space. The digital timer turns on the coffee maker so you can wake up to fresh brewed coffee in the morning. The auto cutoff allows you to grab a cup of coffee before brewing is completed. It was reasonably priced, making this a great value. I highly recommend this coffeemaker.

Led programmable electronic clock/timer accelerated brewing time, just 35 seconds per cup hinged water reservoir, water level indicator 1450-watt, copper-braised, stainless steel tubingThis coffeemaker brews up to twelve 5-ounce cups of coffee at a high temperature for speed--35 seconds per cup, with a four-cup minimum. For a quick pour, the coffeemaker automatically pauses the brewing process for 30 seconds when the carafe is removed from its warming plate. The glass carafe has a guard to protect the knuckles and is dishwasher-safe. On the coffeemaker's left side is a transparent gauge for monitoring the water level. The filter basket accommodates cone-shaped paper filters and removes for filling and cleaning. Lightweight and clad in bright plastic, the 1,450-watt coffeemaker has push-in cord storage, measures 13-1/2 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 9-1/2 inches deep, and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
