Customer Review: Know what you are buying and you'll be pleased

This is a great, well-priced coffeemaker but realize that it falls in the most basic category of coffeemakers. There is an on/off switch on the bottom and that's about it. It doesn't have a clock and you won't be able to set this thing to come on at 6am to get the smells to help wake you up. However, the trade-off is an appliance very easy to learn and great for first time coffee brewers such as myself. Pour the water in the back, toss the coffee in the filter and it's brewin' time. The cone filter easily removes for cleaning and removing the coffee grinds.This product will help you out if counter space is an issue for you because it is very compact and has a storable power cord that can go in and out of the machine. It's light for moving around. It uses #4 cone coffee filters. I recommend the Melitta unparched filters for best taste.
If you've been brewing coffee for awhile, I might not suggest this product as it would be a "downgrade" for you. However, if it's a reasonably priced, no-nonsense appliance you want as a second appliance for your home or office, or as a first time coffee brewer, look no further.
